Beyond the south-east corner.
Konstruct is Brisbane-based but Queensland-resourced. Most of our work is in the south-east — Brisbane metro, Gold Coast strip, hinterland, occasionally the Sunshine Coast — and that’s where the routine response times live. For regional Queensland, we scope on a case-by-case basis: the work is welcome where it’s the right fit, but we’re honest if a local operator is the better call for a small job seven hours away.
What we mobilise for.
Multi-day jobs, programmes of work across a portfolio, or specialist work where there isn’t a local rope access operator with the trade qualifications for the actual repair. Glazing, façade remediation, water leak detection, industrial inspection and maintenance — anything where the trade qualification matters as much as the rope work.
How travel works.
- Brisbane and Gold Coast — no travel surcharge
- Sunshine Coast — minor mobilisation, itemised
- Regional Queensland — travel and accommodation itemised transparently, no hidden uplift
- Larger programmes — multi-day mobilisation pricing offered upfront
Where local operators are the better call.
Single small jobs deep into regional Queensland are sometimes better served locally — we’ll say so. Where the work genuinely needs IRATA Level 3 supervision, specialist trade qualifications, or the level of insurance cover we carry, that’s where Konstruct earns the mobilisation.
Beyond Queensland.
South-east Queensland is where almost all of our work happens — but for the right project we mobilise Australia-wide. Multi-day programmes, specialist façade, glazing and industrial access, or work where the certified crew, trade qualifications and insurance cover matter more than being local. If a job genuinely warrants it, distance isn’t the deciding factor — travel and accommodation are itemised transparently and quoted upfront.
Common questions.
How far will you travel?
Anywhere in Queensland for the right job. Brisbane and Gold Coast are routine; the Sunshine Coast and major regional centres are scoped on a case-by-case basis. Larger or further work is priced with travel and accommodation transparently itemised — no hidden surcharges.
Do you sub-contract regional work to local crews?
No. Konstruct mobilises our own crew. The whole point is one team, one standard, one chain of accountability — IRATA Level 3-led, from the top down. Sub-contracting defeats that.
Is rope access viable for regional jobs that aren't high-rise?
Yes — rope access applies anywhere conventional access (scaffold, EWP, cherry picker) is too slow, too expensive, or genuinely impractical. Industrial tanks, towers, bridges, and process plant are all in scope under our industrial service.
