Rope access, in Brisbane.
Brisbane is Konstruct’s home base and the work runs the full vertical: apartment towers in the inner-city ring, mixed-use buildings across the CBD, residential high-rise from West End through to Newstead, and commercial stock across Fortitude Valley, Spring Hill, and Milton. We service Greater Brisbane proper — same crew, same equipment, same response time across the metro area.
Most jobs are repair, replacement, inspection, or remediation work that would otherwise need scaffolding or a cherry picker. Rope access removes both the cost and the lead time. We respond to every enquiry within one business day; emergency work — water ingress, façade failure, broken-pane safety risk — is responded to 24/7.
What we deliver.
The same crew handles the whole vertical scope. Specialist trade qualifications sit alongside the rope access training, so the glazier reaching the pane is actually a glazier, not a rope technician with a tube of silicone.
Glazing
Replacement panes, IGU swaps, full curtain wall programmes, sealant work. Our director has run specialist glazing businesses for over a decade.
Cladding
Repair, replacement, and compliance inspection. ACP / non-conforming cladding remediation where applicable.
Façade remediation
Concrete spalling repair, sealant replacement, structural façade work where access is the limiting factor.
Water leak detection and repair
Curtain wall, window, and roofline leak tracing. Often the part of the job that pays for itself.
Inspections and reports
Façade and height safety inspections with photographic reporting suitable for insurance and compliance use.
Emergency response
24/7 callout for façade failures, water ingress, and access hazards. One phone number, day or night.
Why a Brisbane operator matters.
Local response time is the whole game on emergency work — a curtain wall leak that floods a tenant’s apartment doesn’t wait for a Sydney crew to drive up. We’re Brisbane-resident, work the same set of buildings repeatedly, and know which façade systems are common across the metro stock. When something fails, we’ve usually seen the same failure mode before.
We work the Gold Coast regularly and mobilise across Queensland for larger jobs — same crew, same standard, same insurance cover.

Common questions.
What does rope access actually mean on a job?
Rope access is the discipline of reaching difficult-access work positions using engineered rope systems and the international IRATA training framework. In practice, a Konstruct technician is anchored on a working line and a backup line — two independent points of attachment at all times — and works the building from above, without scaffold, cherry pickers, or swing stages. For most high-rise repair and inspection work it’s faster, less disruptive, and meaningfully cheaper than the alternatives.
How is rope access compared to scaffolding on cost and timeline?
For repair, replacement, inspection, and remediation work above ground level, rope access is almost always faster and cheaper to mobilise — there’s no scaffold to build, no licence for the ground-floor footprint, no two-week wait. For brand-new construction or long-duration large-area programmes, scaffold may still be the right call. We’ll tell you which is correct for your job rather than defaulting to ours.
Are you IRATA-certified as a company?
Our director personally holds IRATA Level 3, the highest individual qualification recognised internationally for rope access work. Konstruct does not currently claim corporate IRATA membership — those are two different things and we’re careful not to overstate which one applies. Our crew is trained to IRATA standard regardless.
What buildings have you worked on in Brisbane?
Konstruct works across Brisbane on commercial, residential, and mixed-use high-rise — apartment towers, office buildings, retail. We don’t publish a client list publicly out of respect for the building owners we work for; we can supply specific references on request once we’ve scoped the job.
Do you only do work above a certain height?
No. Rope access is the tool we lead with, but we work from a single window pane on a townhouse through to multi-storey façade programmes. Sized to the job.
