What we do.
Konstruct designs, installs, inspects, and certifies height safety systems across Queensland — anchor points, static lines, fall arrest, roof access systems. The same crew that uses rope access systems professionally is the right crew to specify and install the systems other people will rely on.
Where it fits.
Inspection and certification
Annual inspection of existing anchor points, static lines, and fall arrest systems. Photographic record and certification documentation suitable for compliance and insurance.
System installation
New anchor point and static line installation on roofs, facades, and access routes where future maintenance will rely on the system.
Remediation
Where existing systems fail inspection, scope the remediation — replacement anchors, additional points, system upgrades.
What it includes.
- System inspection with photographic record
- Certification documentation
- QBCC-licensed installation work
- Coordinated with building inspections where broader scope applies
Common questions.
How often do height safety systems need to be inspected?
AS/NZS 1891.4 requires anchor points and fall arrest systems to be inspected at least annually by a competent person. More frequent inspection may be required where systems are used heavily or exposed to harsh conditions — coastal salt air, for example, accelerates corrosion in fixings.
Who can certify anchor points in Queensland?
Certification must be carried out by a competent person with the relevant technical knowledge — typically a licensed contractor with documented training in fall protection systems. Konstruct carries QBCC licensing and an IRATA Level 3-led crew, the internationally recognised standard for rope access competency.
Can you design and install a new system, or only inspect existing ones?
Both. We design, supply, install, and certify new height safety systems — anchor points, static lines, roof access routes, and fall arrest. Where a system already exists, we inspect and certify it, and scope any remediation work if it fails.
